Ayant les cardans à remplacer sur la GTX, et discutant du sujet avec une connaissance qui aime aussi la mécanique, ce dernier me conseille de remplacer les joints spi des deux côtés "pendant qu'on y est" façon pompe à eau pour la distribution. Vous pensez que c'est pertinent?

 

Ne me considérant pas encore au niveau pour ce genre d'opération je pense confier cette tâche à mon garagiste, le changement de ces joints spi est coûteux?

Côté conducteur,pas de joint spy. La tripode rentre dans la boîte.De l autre côté, les cannelés sortent de la boîte et le cardan s emboîté sur les canelures. Les joints spy c est sur d autres boîte.

oui, je confirme qu'il n'y a pas de joint spy à changer lors d'un changement de cardan sur une Super 5.

Par contre si tu changes le côté gauche (conducteur), il faut vidanger la boîte car le cardan rentre dans celle-ci, au moyen d'un soufflet à visser dessus. Si tu changes le cardan côté droit, il n'y a qu'une goupille à sortir et remettre (neuve), rien de bien compliqué.
Le plus difficile lors du changement d'un cardan, pour un débutant, c'est d'être correctement outillé, notamment pour desserrer & resserrer les écrous de moyeu...
Ce tuto, qui est orienté roulement, te permet, si tu le suis uniquement jusqu'au chapitre correspondant (6.3, c'est expliqué dans le tuto), de voir ce qu'il faut faire pour changer un cardan sur une super 5 (même si c'est une twingo, les trains avant sont les mêmes que sur les super 5) : Index des Tutos -> Suspension & Direction -> Changer les roulements avant, cardans, et disques de freins
